Felix
|
Felix is a 3 year old Yellow Lab/Great Dane Cross; he is neutered and weighs 83 pounds. Felix originally came to us as a stray in early June 2007. We know by his behavior at that time that he wasn't always treated well. Felix was adopted into a new home but was returned to us recently for killing a goat; livestock is a "no-go" for this guy! Felix is a very high energy boy who needs a lot of training. This very loving young male will make a great friend and pet to those willing to invest the time to train and work with him. We know that Felix is house trained and crate trained and likes some other dogs. Any other dog in his new family must be smaller and submissive to him. Felix ignores cats but since he has not lived with them and we are aware of his predatory behavior, we recommend a home with no cats. Because he should not be left alone for extended periods of time, we ask that he be adopted into a family who is home for a good part of each day. He may not be adopted into a home with children under the age of ten. Felix loves car rides, knows sit, comes when called, and loves a good game of fetch. |
