Dixie

Dixie is a 4 month old Walker/English Hound Cross; she is spayed and weighs 31 pounds. This sweetheart came to us when her owners could no longer care for her. Dixie is almost housetrained and knows sit. She loves people and loves to play. Dixie gets along with other dogs. This loveable puppy can be child tested and/or cat tested for any interested family. Hounds are generally lovely, loyal, and patient with children. They are usually quite friendly with other dogs. Hounds do well in homes with other dogs as they have been bred to live exclusively in dog packs for hunting. Dixie’s ideal home will include a dog or dogs and people who are home most of the time. |
